Creative agency We Are Ready came to us with the challenge of creating a series of hype videos to help launch the up and coming brand Sleek Makeup. The project came with a deep array of visual assets and a strong brand guideline, but with an extremely tight turnaround time (meaning minimal margin for error) and the requirement that the results be creatively spectacular. No pressure then.

I began by prepping the supplied images and building designs in Adobe Illustrator, which were then animated in After Effects. The exports were then transferred to Premier for further effects, sound and transitions. To We Are Ready’s relief and delight, the results were even better than they had imagined.

Sleek Makeup to successfully use the resulting videos in sales pitches to large cosmetics retailers.
